PAINTER AT THE CROSSROADS OF HYPERREALISM, POP ART, AND STREET ART

Formerly a decorative painter by profession, Alexandre Abyla has created a large number of sets, murals, and trompe-l’œil over thirty years for both public and private domains, ranging from Renaissance to Baroque styles, Romanticism, Impressionism, Modernism, Contemporary art, as well as abstract or figurative drawing.

Born an artist, Alexandre Abyla developed a passion for painting and for his muse, who is the source of his inspiration, his most fantastical and ardent daydreams. He will show unwavering love for The Woman, this goddess who is both uninhibited and fascinating, becoming the cornerstone of his artistic anchor. From hyperrealistic traits that transport us through the deep gaze of his beloved to having our eyes fixed on her lips, her silky and sparkling hair. Alexandre Abyla uses a repetitive variation of a vulgar gesture sparingly, always with a humorous and romantic tone.

In each of his creations, he embodies the gallant knight of his lady, respectful and attentive to her desires and moods… Brushstrokes, vibrant colors, and zest to make the light of his muse shine… Feminine perfection in all its aspects, an emotional exposure full of love, care, and kindness…

Biography
At 60 years old, Alexandre Abyla is a Swiss self-taught painter-sculptor and father of 6 children.

Born with a gift – that of drawing – he never attended any art school. Born in an era when television was still black and white, and there was neither Internet nor mobile phones, drawing was for him a way to transport himself into these imaginary worlds.

His extraordinary artistic journey allowed him, after working independently as a decorative painter, to return to his lifelong passion, painting, and thus to paint what he loves most: The Woman.

Being able to devote himself to his passion has opened doors to galleries where he begins to exhibit his works.
